BUT, if your divorce is finalized even one day before the I-485 approval date(or resident since date, which ever is ealier), this GC is approved in error and should be revoked anytime in the future when USCIS find out. In that case, it's better you surrender it to USCIS and apply through another eligibility to get GC to have a piece of mind.
