Pjian and Xiaobaitu, Please help on H4 extension with 2 month ga

Hi Pjiang and XiaobaiTu,

Please help for my case: H4 expired 2 month ago, I’m in AOS now, LD (H1) is priciple applicant for 485, pending>180 days.

Can I be able to extend my H4 within US? Does this 2 month gap is OOS? And does this gap will affect my 485? If I get 797B for POE, does this option will affect my 485?

I want to keep H4 status in case 485 reject.

Or can I just stay in AOS till 485 has results, if reject, can I go out and apply H4 come back again?

Please help….
