還有一點，有同學著急回家，等不及 AP 批準就離境了。以為轉寄回國就行，可以拿著回美。不是這樣的。當你在 AP 批準之前就離境的話，就被視為放棄 AP，而 AP 也就失效了。而且下文中的 application 也許是指 I-485，那就更壞了事兒。切記！
＂If you travel before the advance parole document is issued, your application will be deemed abandoned if You depart from the United States.＂
