The whole process is kind of painful if you keep thinking about it (it can drive you crazy.).
My PD is also Jan 2003 (PD carried over from EB3 to EB2).
My experience is:
1) infopass may not be useful, it depends on which officer will be talking to you. The officer who talked to me told me it would take 4-5 years for EB though name check was complete and PD was current (it was last November.).
2) congressman who represents your area should help. I got useful information like name check was complete last year, new fingerprint appointment would be sent to me last month. If you think you meet all criteria (PD current, RD out of processing date more than 30 days), you may ask your local congressman's office for help.

My suggestion is Green card is not the only thing in your life. Like some other people's saying, your family member's health etc, are more important and you can always make it in the end though it is very unpredictable how soon you can get it.
Good luck.
