I do not know what happen to you. Something really bad happened to me last year. TSC sent me email saying; approval notice of OPT EAD has been sent out on July 31, 2007. But I did not receive it within one month. I called the center and the representative told me he will forward the notice to the officer and let me wait for further action. He let me call if I did not receive it within 30 days. I called them again in September, 2007 and a representative told me the TSC has not received the returned mail and I have to wait until TSC received the returned mail. Otherwise he suggested me either apply again or request duplicate copy but I have to pay the filing fee $340 again and wait another 3 months!!
That is horrible to me! I need it to work to support my family! So I finally gave it up and apply H1-B with premium processing service, which charge me additional $1000.
I am so disappointed by CIS service. They did very bad!
I pray to God that will not happen to me again during my GC petition.
