H1B transfer/extension approved after I got GC!!!

My H1B transfer/extension was finally approved after my I-485 was approved (after I got my actual GC card), is that OK? not any probelm at all? Definetely the two approval is at two different service center. However, somebody posted a scary note about "Last Action Rule" that USCIS follows. Does it apply to GC?

The attorney says as long as your GC is not revoked by USCIS, everything is OK. Need I inform USCIS to revoke my H1B?
