申請父母移民也要辦理他們的出生公證嗎？

我是公民，想申請爸媽移民過來，本來想自己填表就可以了，後來朋友說還是交給那些律師事務所辦好！問了他們需要什麽文件，其中有父母的出生公證！真的需要的嗎？
還有，要求的照片我和父母的合照可不可以有其他人，譬如我的丈夫孩子，或者姐姐？
