When you use AP to enter US, you may resume working under valid H-1b till its expiration, regardless expiration on Parole I-94, before adjudication of I-485.

In case your I-485 is denied, before H-1b expiration, when you are in Parole status, I think you need to get H-1b reinstated, by 1) re-admit in H-1B, or 2) file petition with USCIS
