FP and FBI name check are differnet system, and many people got multiple FP (they expire after 15 months), and most of applicant only need once for FBI name check, and once FBI send back result to USCIS, it will never expire (unless USCIS lost the file, and this indeed happen, we knew at least two cases, see case 1, case 2 )

so here your second FP may be good sign (there is rumor that USCIS will not arrange for new FP -even previous expire, unless name check clear)
