PiJing, can I go back to China for a short vacation while EAD re

I have submitted my EAD renewal in late May. Right now it is still pending. Can I go back to China for a short vacation while my EAD renewal is still pending? If yes, are there any special things I need to be aware of? If I reenter using AP, what other documents I need to bring with me?
