I knew someone got RFE on I-485, as she stayed 1.5 yr with a language school so as to keep status, after regular OPT with a degree. While, if you have a good reason to receive such training, say improving language ability, it sounds reasonable and believable. The above mentioned person did receive her GC after response to RFE.
