I just got my approved I-485 notice based on EB-1B, and I want to change my job to a new employer. But someone told me I have to continue to work for my current employer at least six months before I change the employer. Is that true? Does it have any negative effects on my future status if I change the employer now?

- No regulation as such.
Since the GC is based on a permanent position, your leaving the position may raise doubt on such requirement regarding your current position. It's not saying you can't do so or doing so will definitely bring you trouble, while people tend to believe not doing so will save trouble potentially.
