Here is a list of materials I used in support of my application for transferring from H4 to F1:
• Filing fee ($200.00);
• The latest, original Form I-94;
• Print of the receipt of SEVIS I-901 fee ($100.00);
• Form I-539, “Application to Extend/Change Nonimmigrant Status”;
• Mailing label as required;
• The latest, original Form I-20 from University of XXX;
• Copy of the initial admission letter;
• Copy of my graduate assistantship offer letter;
• Copy of my current H-4B approval notice;
• Copy of my spouse's current H-1B approval notice;
• Copy of the marriage certificate with translation of my spouse and I; and
• Copies of all my other I-20’s, EAD, and my latest entry visa.
