3. LC, 140 approved, 485 pending >180day and PD not current, H1 transfer to a new employer:

#1 is for sure, #2 and #3 is my real experiences. For #3, I was surprised to get another 3 years since it's a transfer. I change from Company A to B. My H1b with A expires Dec 2010. When I transfered to B, the expiration date is Dec 2011. I've provided 140 approval notice and 485 receipt. Maybe that's the reason that they gave me another 3 yr extension. So when you change job with 485 pending >180, do remember to get a copy of the 140 approval notice from your employer.
