Internaltional Travel

Folks, need your knowledge and expertise -

I have both H1b and EAD&AP. I need to do frequent business travel to Canada in the coming 6 months. It seems I have to use AP for re-entry to US. Question - Does the use of AP automatically nullify my H1B status?

My guess is that as long as I do not use EAD, I will still have valid H1B status regardless of the use of AP, but just want to verify that.
