“如果F-1學生已經完成了他/她的post-completion OPT，到4月1日時仍然處於寬限期內，並且他/她的H-1B申請已經在移民局規定時間內提交，他/她就可以獲得自己的D/S身份的自動延期。但是，工作許可不會自動延期，因為它已經到期了，名額空檔期並不會使工作許可自然而然地獲得延長。”。

也就是說gap期間不可以工作？但這和他以前說的自相矛盾哪？也和uscis的解釋矛盾。
“If the H-1B petition filed on behalf of the student is selected during the acceptance period, the student may remain in the United States and continue working until the October 1 start date indicated on the approved H-1B petition. The student may benefit from this provision only if he/she has not violated his/her status."
- What it said is "the student may remain in the United States and continue working until the October 1"

They conflict so you need to make your decision.
