I prefer to use AP to save some hassle to stamp H1 if that's safe. My confusion is that my lawyer and some people online think I will jeopardize my H1 transfer if I use my AP to come back, then apply H1 transfer.

However, it seems that Pijiang laoshi thinks I am safe to use AP, no matter I apply H1 transfer before or after go back home. Btw, I don't plan to work for old company at all after coming back to U.S. I'll start working for new company on the 2nd day of coming back.
