It seems your RFE is very tough. USCIS is asking for solid evidences.

I guess your referees only claimed you are outstanding and have made groundbreaking contributions. But they did not include any of your papers in the letter. They should include all the information in the letter (pages, volume, journal name, year and what are main contributions you made in the paper) to make solid and concrete claims.

My impression from RFE is that you made claims without providing solid evidences in supporting your status. You must provide solid and concrete evidences to support your outstanding status.
