It's easy to apply for visa to canada with 485 pending. prepare all the documents requested by the consulate, make sure you have exact money with you. $75 for one visit and $150 for multi-entry. REMEMBER: THEY DO NOT ACCEPT 100 DOLLAR BILL. Otherwise, you will be aked to come again. This rule is very strict in New York. I had to go to bank to get 20 dollar bills and then come back.

Interview takes only 2 minutes and you can get your visa in the afternoon.
