From me:
I came to the states with my LG two years ago. (he has come back to China) At
that time, I got the F2 visa. I just transferred from F2 to F1 and will begin
my study this Aug. I plan to go back to China to see my LG and my son this
Christmas. I miss them so much. Definitely,I need get my F1 visa if I want to
go back to States. My major is management, not a sensitive major.

I wonder if there is anybody can tell me if it's easy to get the F1 visa?
Where I can find the document list I need to prepare for the interview? Thanks

I do not know whether the visa is easy, but I guess you already out of status since your hu*****and went back to China. How did you keep your F2 status when F1 has been inalid. It is a serious problem, maybe you will be refused id you apply visa in China again.

Thank you very much. I have changed my status from F2 to F1 this May. My hu*****and went back to China thin July. So my status was F1 pending when he left. SO that means I was out of status? Please give me some suggestion, thank you very much.
