Asking sdfsdfsdff about your reply for AP and HIB..

I have few more questions:
1. what does this mean "You must own AP "? I had AP already.
2. what is AOS?
3.what is COS?
4.I had H1B visa already and this time is just H1B extention.
5.I thought we can use H1B status go to Canada for 30 days and do not need the H1B visa to come back to U.S., is it still true?
6. after all the new info for my case (above 1, 4,5 ), do you have new answer for the following question :

我的情況是這樣：
我的EAD將在11/2008過期。公司正申H1B and H4 (for my child)，還沒拿到。
我自己辦了加拿大綠卡，還有幾個星期必須landing, 否則做廢。
我想用H1b and H4 come back to U.S. after landing Canada.
my question is :
#1: which one should I use to re-enter U.S. ? AP or H1B? which one is better in my case?
#2: if I use EAD re-enter U.S. , does this mean that my H1B and my child's H4 will automatically invalid even it is still in process? or EAD and H1B are totally two separeated thing and they do not affect each other?
