我的基本情況是：
Seattle, WA
EB2 LC，TSC
PD：09/2003
140/485：06/23/2006
NC：Pending since 06/26/2006
LUD：07/10/2007（無內容變化）

給FL，議員，FBI，USCIS寫過多次信，打過多次電話，均無實質性進展。

4月11日，在這個論壇看到一個給Timothy Keefer寫信的帖子，信息如下：

Mr. Timothy J. Keefer
Deputy Officer for Programs and Compliance
Office of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties
Department of Homeland Security
Mail Stop #0800
Washington, DC 20528

於是馬上寫了一封信發出，並未抱太大希望。

4月28日，收到Timothy Keefer辦公室的回信，告知已將我的信轉去USCIS在DC的辦公室，由他們處理。我認為這是一個例行公函，再次失望。

5月2日，在忍無可忍的情況下，請律師提交了WOM，聯邦法庭於5月6日兌現了我的支票。

5月8日中午11點，在公司接到USCIS打來的電話，告訴我他們收到了Timothy Keefer轉去的信，查看了我的情況，均屬正常，NC still pending，但在當前政策下，是屬於可以審批的。由於待批的人太多，還需等待。我又一次失望，因為這種等待常常是遙遙無期的。

令我吃驚的是，5月9日中午12點多，我又接到了USCIS同一個人打來的電話，告訴我我的PD還不Current，所以現在還不能審批我。我馬上告訴她，我的PD是09/2003，已經Current了，於是她說，Okay, you are fine。

整個周末，我越想越覺得，希望似乎就在眼前了。

5月14日淩晨2:15 Email，Card Production Ordered.

我認為，我給Timothy Keefer的信和WOM可能同時產生了作用，促成了這件事。

485等得太久的人不妨試一試。
