485 pending 可以失業嗎

485 pending 可以失業嗎？
本人老博士後，2007年七月遞交140 和485，2008年1月批140。今天老板說隻能
雇我一年了，我擔心找不到下個博士後或者公司。如果失業能維持485多長時間呢？最
擔心的是如果我失效我LP（在讀）的EAD也會失效。
很著急。 有知道的請回帖。不勝感激。
