A question regarding F1. Thanks a lot!

My cousin is in US for 4 month and have a F1 visa (multiple entry in one year). She has to go to china for 2 month and come back for another university. Does she need to get new F1 visa for coming back in a year, or the old F1 visa still usable? Many thanks
