CP Issue, , 請教小白兔或皮匠大師 or other experts

Both my wife and I submitted I485 last year ( pending status ). My wife is the primary applicant and I am the dependant. Her current US employer may send her to China for a couple of years, and I guess she will start Consular processing. I plan to keep working in US. However, if this happens, will both her and my I485 (and EAD) be rejected or become invalid? Pls advise.
