Pjiang 請進：B2 延期被拒, 簽證是否作廢? 如何解釋INA 222(g) 條款

Pjiang老師，我讀了您的blog,但還有一點疑問：

如果B2簽證五月到期，可是如果據信六月才到，那麽在收到拒信後離開是否B2簽證也作廢了呢？因為從INA 222(g)來看，
In the case of an alien who has been admitted on the basis of a
nonimmigrant visa and remained in the United States beyond the
period of stay authorized by the Attorney General, such visa shall
be void beginning after the conclusion of such period of stay。
