Something I have to say, a little off-topic:

This example has nothing to do with the new policy change. It's just a busy mom who thinks her job is more important than her kid. Parents should always be with their kids. Period.

Back to the topic, I totally understand that the consulate does not want to issue travel document to parents who don't qualify (with GC or citizenship). But is there better way than forcing someone take days off and fly 1000 miles just to show that he does not have a GC.

What I see is some peole abuse the system and honest ones get the punishment. Not fair, IMO.
