急問-我父母必須離境嗎？？？

父母持B2來美探親，簽證於5/05/08過期，我於3/21/08向VSC(Vermont Service Center)申請了簽證延期（I-539),移民局也於三個星期前已經cash了我寄去的check，但至今（4/22）仍不見receipt notice.

請問，如果在5/05之前還沒收到receipt notice,我父母必須離境嗎？還是可以一直在美國境內等？
