Is it normal?

My 485 has filed over a year. I wrote to congressman, senator, 1st lady and FBI 3 months. Got reply from most of them saying my NC was pending. Today I went to infopass was told my NC is still pending. Seems writing to congressman, senator etc does not help to speed up my NC.

Is it normal? Anyone has similar experience? Should I write to congressman and senator again?

I'm going crazy about this long wait.
