If you call NSC and are directed to a nice representative, he/she will tell you whether your NC has been cleared or not. Otherwise infopass appointment will give you the answer. Writing to senator/congressman and they will ask FBI for you too, but that will take much longer.

Everyone's NC will be cleared sooner or later. You already have your GC approved and that is the most important thing.
