申請美國公民的Selective Service Registration

在準備美國公民麵試所要求的材料。 其中有一項是 any evidence of Selective Service Registration. 上網查了一下， 好像是針對男性申請人關於注冊服兵役的。 所以女性申請人就不用準備這項材料了。 是這樣嗎？ 謝謝大家。
