Do you have EAD card?

If so, talk to your new employer's attorney to see if you can start to work using EAD card (filling our I-9 form) then switch you over to H1B once it will have been arroved.

My experience:
Filed on 02/21 premium service;
Got approval notice on 03/05. Did not get filing receipt. Maybe it is on attorney's hands.
