You filed H-1 transfer back in 2006 and you don't know its current status, now you've been working for this new employer.

When did you start working for new employer whose H-1 petition is still unknown?
What do you mean by "PROFF"?

I believe the petition, filed in 2006, should have already been adjudicated. If you have a copy of notice receipt (or receipt#), you may check its current status here.

Since you mentioned USCIS (BTW, not IRS) sent RFE in 04/2007 (２００７年一月分 + 等了３個月), the petition may have been denied if RFE response was not received in time.

If this is the case, you became out of status from the time the petition was denied.

In this case, any H-1 petition being filed for you may not be approvable, or you will need to reinstate your H-1 by POE if it is approved.
