If I work at an university and hold H1-B visa and now need to apply a cap-subject H1-B visa for an industrial job, in Part 2, question 2 (Basis for classification), should I choose:
a) New employment (including new employer filing H-1B extension)?
If yes, in Part 2, question 5 (Requested Action), should I choose:
b) Change the person's status and extend their stay since the person(s) are all now in the U.S. in another status?
If not these, please tell me which ones I should choose.
Thanks!
pjiang, another H1-B question.
