U probably want to use H1 instead of EAD in this situation.

There's a risk that CIS may deny your 140 as the strong tie between you and your sponsor is over. As your pending 140 can not be protected by AC21, you would like to find a job immediately, using H1b to gurantee 0 adverse effect on your legal stay.
