If I work for company using my EAD, how does it affect their status? Especially, what is the best way to keep my son's status?
--You will be on AOS when EAD is used (I-9 employment eligibility form will be filled on your first day). Your wife will keep her own H1b unchanged (it's a good backup for your family). Your son will lose H4 (as he's H4 on your H1b) and automatically become AOS. Your son can use EAD to work, if he's old enough. Hope this helps.
