I have heI have heard from numerous people that H1 6 year clock starts from date you enter US.

I was already in the US working on J1 when I recieved approval of my 1st H1 valid from 07-22-2005 til 07-20-2008. The recept date on my I-797 was 02-15-2005 and the Notice date on it was 04-16-2005.

When does my H1 clock start 02-15-2005(Recept Date) or 04-16-2005 (Notice Date), or 07-22-2005 (Validity date)?
