What does "They just received my case today" mean?

i called TSC using POJ today and was told "They just received my case today.". what that means? i submitted my I-485 in 2006, why thy just receive today? i ask offerer what that means, she just repeated. i am totally lost, anyone knows or have the same experience? or another new execute?
