485s approved

I have been visiting this forum for years and acquired lots of useful information. Thanks to Xiao Baitu, Two Cents, Radiology, PJiang and other experts for their time and help. Here are some case details:

EB1b, TSC
PD: Sept, 2005
AD: Dec, 2005

485s concurrently filed with the 140 in 2005
Stuck in NC for 2.5 years
1st RFE: asking for nonimmigration status (2006)
2nd RFE: asking for the physical exams (Jan 28, 2008) although we did in 2005. Not sure whether it was because of the new policy on NC (since the new policy was announced in the beginning or Feb)
485AD: 2/28/08, not very excited after having been waiting so long
Approval notices received 3/5/08
Cards received: 3/8/08

For the NC, wrote to the First Lady, Congressmen, and Senator and went to local office using Inforpass for multiple times. The First Lady forwarded the letter to FBI, and Congressmen made several inquiries on my behalf. I feel that none of these really helped with the NC.

Finally, best luck to everyone. Be positive and do whatever you need to do besides while waiting for the green card.
