請問xiaobaidu, pjiang, 在美國之外的時間計算在H1六年之內嗎？

情況是這樣的：
1。2007年5月拿到 H1 approval notice, 本來可以2007.10 在北京簽證，赴美。但由於種種原因，直到2008.4才成行。請問 2007。10 - 2008。4 這段時間會從六年中扣掉嗎？
2。 類似的，我的L1 visa 本來可以居留到 2007.11, 但是在2007.3 就回國了。那麽 2007.3 - 2007.11 年的這段時間會從六年中扣掉嗎？
我印象中好像六年隻計算在美國實際居住的時間，是這樣嗎？希望得到權威的說法！
