I used AP in Newark in January. No need to 小屋子, but you have to wait for 單獨談話 (in an open area). In my case, I waited for about 45 minutes.
I know 2 friends used AP in Newark in February. One waited for 2 hours and the other one almost 3 hours.
When you went through the booth, they would tell you that you would be escorted to "the area" for further check. While you are there, just wait. But it may take hours for one of them to pick the file. They really take their time. And you just sit there and watch more and more people are sent over to "the area" while the papers are piling up. However, once they picked your file, it took them 5 minutes.
