DOL is known to be non-responsive to the PERM inquiries. Most employers/lawyers got the PERM decision first and the inqury response late (or never).

PERM before mid 2007 was very fast, especially in Chicago center. It slows down since then, and first quarter of FFY2008 even shows 40%+ audit rate.
