visit China with AP, what else needed to bring in order to come

My daughter's status is H4 and she got her AP last Nov. She plans to go back to China for Spring Break. I wondered what else she need to bring besides her passport and AP in order to come back smoothly. She is only 12 years old. How big chance for her to be rejected by US custom. My visa is H1. Her travel with AP will not affect my status, isn't right?
