Timing of filing H-1B beyond 6 years

Hello:

My H-1B will reach 6 years cap at th end of July, 2008. My company filed my PERM June 2007. Is my company permissioned to file my H-1B extension now (Feb, 2008)? or really have to wait until the end of June 2008 when 365 days physically has passed?
