485pending兩年，老公是主申請人（NIW-NSC)。 本人現在有cap-exempt的H1B.目前有一公司的offer,打算用EAD工作。有朋友告知，這種情況下我可以申請H4,如485有意外發生，不至於失去身份。但公司的律師（美國人）說一旦啟用EAD,H1/H4 都會失效。懇請明白人指點一二。

yes, once you use EAD, your H1 will be invalid. However, you can resume H4 (affiliated to your LG's H1) if 485 is denied. Just simply file 539 and go outside for an H4 stamp.
Now you plan to switch to H4 then use EAD to work. This is not necessary and not pratical as once you use EAD, H4 will be also invalid.
