One more question. Xiaobaitu and Pjiang

My I-485 is pending. If it's approved while I am in China, what will happen? Can I still get the green card? I have AP approved. Can I just come back to US by using AP? Should I bring an employment letter as well? Or can my wife mail the green card to me? Also, Can I just leave US again right after I get the green card? Thanks for any input.
