Short version of my previous question, please help

Job desc. modification help needed:

Current job desc. filed in school HR: MS in Biology + 1-2 year programming experience (I am excluded as a qualified candidate without 1 year full-time programming experience, only has 2 year GRA programming experience).

Proposed modification to HR (not yet): MS in Biology + BS in CS OR 1 year programming experience. Will this be okay with PERM filing? Not sure if "OR" is considered invalid as other words like "desired/preferred". Need to talk to HR soon, can't afford to make more mistakes.
