Using coworker's LC?

Hi,

My company received my coworker's Labor certificate last month, he resigned last year,
we applied different positions under same department, I only filed LC one month later than his.
my lawyer said I can use his LC, but I need to change my exprience valification letter.
(My old exprience valification letter does not match with his position requirment)



My question is

Should I use his LC to file I140/I485 now? is there any disadvantage to use other's LC?
or
I just wait for my own LC, which shoule have result soon, but who know when I will get.


Since I worry about that my current company may shut down soon, or maybe not,
so even one month early to file I140/I485 is very critical for me.
