Questions about I-824 for 小白兔

Hi XiaoBaiTu,

My green card based on NIW was approved 6 months ago and filed I-824 for my child in China 4 months ago.

I-824 petition was approved by USCIS on Nov.1,2007. And the Approval notice said USCIS has notified the consulate.

But I checked with the Consulate in GuangZhou and the National Visa Center yesterday. Both of them said they did NOT have any record for my case in their system. I am so surprised! I also called the USCIS today and a lady said they did send the approval notice to NVC. She asked me to make an appointment with local USCIS.

XiaoBaiTu, could you give me any suggestions? thanks a lot.
