I-485遞交180天後, 用EAD能做 Independent contractor with 1099 Form 嗎?

我是做電腦的, 是A公司(Consulting agency)的W2 Employee, 但為B公司做項目, 稱為C2C Employee (Contractor To Contractor).
A公司sponsor 我的 I-140, I-485遞交180天後, 如果用EAD換工作到B公司, 或者另一個C新公司, 肯定能作 similar duty's W2 Employee, 但想請教我能做 Independent contractor with 1099 Form 嗎? In this status, I'll pay the tax for myself. 新公司隻給我 1099 Form rather than W2 Form. Does this mean I am being self-employed as I am with 1099 status? 用EAD能做嗎? Appreciate your suggestion greatly. 感謝!
